Red Clay Alaea Salt is an unprocessed Hawaiian sea salt rich in the natural minerals found in sea water. Small amounts of iron oxide, rich red volcanic clay dust, are added to enrich the salt. It is traditionally used as a rub on meats before grilling and is excellent for spicy dishes.
